Fees
When you first start Kyokushinkai Karate you can wear sports training clothing - tracksuit bottoms, shorts, t-shirt.
It is advisable that you bring at least 2 litres of fluid - 1.5litre of water and 500 ml of hydration fluids especially in summer months.
If after you have trained for a few sessions you decide that you would like to continue to train Kyokushinkai then you will need to wear a Karate suit also known as a Gi. From there in order to be able to spar you will need to be licenced. This is for insurance purposes and you may then want to purchase a punching pad and various other equipment to continue your training progression. At Kyokushinkai we do not force upon you any expensive items and you do not have to purchase directly from us or all at the same time. You are free to purchase equipment from anywhere you like. It just has to be suitable. We can advise you on this when the time comes.
These can be purchased over a period of time to spread out the cost should you need to.
Other optional equipment is also available and is shown below alongside the standard equipment.
Equipment
Below we have listed equipment photos and prices. These can be purchased directly through us and are discounted compared to online prices. All of our items are purchased through Kyokushin UK Ltd or www.blitzsports.com. Please take a look at their websites should you wish to compare prices or have a browse at the full range of equipment they offer.
