Sevenoaks Kyokushinkai Karate was formed in 1991, Shihan Ray Bond 5th Dan decided to open his first club, it is located at Seal Village Hall near Sevenoaks in Kent. Success followed very quickly as the membership grew. The steadfast determination of Shihan Ray has ensured that the club has survived a variety of trends and difficulties throughout the years including the latest pandemic. Over the time Sevenoaks Kyokushinkai has been established, Shihan Ray has guided many of his students to the coveted Karate black belt status. However, this club is not just about rushing people to black-belt, nor is it about just teaching people how to fight. It is about quality, consistency and persevering with training to constantly improve oneself for health, fitness &  self-confidence as well as simple peace of mind.

Sevenoaks Kyokushinkai Karate Club was affiliated to the British Karate Kyokushinkai and International Federation of Karate and trained under  Chief Instructor,  Hanshi Steve Arneil 10th Dan, for nearly forty years but since 2018 it has run as an independent organization. If you think this martial art may be the one for you then please contact us, we will answer all of your questions and you will be under absolutely no obligation.
